Anushka Ratnayake, CEO & Founder of myAgro
Anushka is the CEO and Founder of myAgro. She has worked in rural Africa since mid-2008, helping to increase food security and market access for small-scale farmers. Prior to starting myAgro, she developed key components of One Acre Fund’s core operation model, created management-training programs and traveled across Africa and South Asia in search of innovations in the microfinance and agricultural sectors. Before joining One Acre Fund, Anushka was an early employee of Kiva.org.
Michelle Kirby, Chief Programs Officer
Michelle is an international development professional with a decade of social impact work experience. Most notably, she spent three years working for One Acre Fund in Rwanda. Before stepping into the role of Chief Programs Officer, Michelle served as myAgro’s Senegal Country Director for two years.
Margaret Barry, Senior Director of Development
Margaret comes to myAgro after spending ten years in the private sector. Her career began as an investment banker on Wall Street and most recently has been in corporate roles, both at blue-chip multinational companies as well as start-ups (both her own and others). She thrives on growing organizations and building partnerships and her passion is agriculture, having done two volunteer internships on active farms in France.
Jurriaan Budde, Associate Director of Global Procurement & Operations
Jurriaan manages global procurement and operations for myAgro’s three countries. He previously was the Operations Manager in Senegal, overseeing the Logistics, HR, Administration and IT departments. Before joining the Senegal team, Jurriaan worked for two years as the Logistics Associate for myAgro in Mali. Prior to myAgro, he worked in procurement and logistics for a large contracting company in the Netherlands for three years.
Jorre Vleminckx, Regional Agriculture Manager
Jorre Vleminckx is the Regional Agriculture Manager for myAgro in Mali and Senegal. He runs myAgro’s agricultural trials, manages agricultural training and extension services for farmers, and advises on long-term agricultural strategy. Before joining myAgro in 2015, Jorre worked in Burundi for the Belgian Development Agency as an agriculture consultant focusing on seed systems.
Abdoulaye Kone, Regional Field Manager
Abdoulaye oversees the field team and manages myAgro’s 14 zones of operation in Senegal. Prior to taking on this role in Senegal, he worked for myAgro in Mali for four years, starting as a field agent and eventually managing five operational zones.
Darcey Tindall, Development Coordinator
Darcey manages donor relations and reporting for myAgro’s Senegal program. She has worked for myAgro for four years in various positions in human resources, special projects and currently development. Prior to joining myAgro, Darcey worked for Kiva in volunteer management and field operations.
Nora Kayirangwa, Office Manager
Nora manages the Senegal headquarters office and administration team. Prior to June 2018, she held the same position in Mali for two and a half years.
